At Axiom Wireless, Safety is a Priority.

We take the following steps to ensure our tower technicians maintain our current safety record of having no lost time accidents in company history.  Our company features a bonus-based safety program, a drug-free workplace, and background checks for all employees.

Training Programs:

• 21 Day new employee training program
• Weekly safety and quality control training
• Comtrain by the in-house instructor (annual)
• OSHA training
• First aid / CPR
• Radio frequency safety by RSI (annual)

Safety Director Kelby Wafler has over 20 years of experience in the telecom industry.  During 6 of those years, he was climbing towers every day.  He began working in 1998 as a tower hand climbing towers every day. Since then, he has had experience in nearly every position in the industry including crew foreman, construction manager, and project manager. In that time, he has had an outstanding safety record for not only himself but also for the crews around him. In 2018 he was promoted to safety director at Axiom because of his excellence.
